Brad Pitt channeled his younger A River Runs Through It self walking around Texas between takes on Tree of Life yesterday. Seriously though, how hot does he look with the shorter hair and no goatee? My middle school self is very happy. So hot. The Jolie-Pitt clan is currently in the Lone Star state while he films, but are rumored to be taking off to more French pastures to await the arrival of baby No. 5. While Brad is hard at work acting, Angelina has (typically) loftier aspirations. She just published her most recent Op Ed piece in the Washington Post about what she thinks we should do in regards to Iraq. From baby bumps to the rumor mill to actual politics — there's just no way to keep the Jolie-Pitts out of the headlines.

Rihanna Takes Her Leather to the Emerald Isle

Rihanna went from a romantic, relaxing getaway in Jamaica with Chris Brown to strutting her fierce self onstage overseas. Rih squeezed into one of her skimpy leather outfits to perform in Dublin, and even though she looks hot, we're ready to see her in something a little less S & M. Plus, now that things are getting serious with Chris, we wonder how he feels about seeing his girl all sexed up on stage for the world to see

Just a Couple of Couples Out on the Town

Tom and Katie meet Will and Jada out for a double date at their old favorite, The Cut, in LA last night. The Pinkett-Smiths kept it flirty in the car, while the Cruises looked a little too tired for kissy face. Maybe they're still recovering from Madonna's post-Oscars blowout bash. It's always fun to see celebrity BFFs hanging out together, but hopefully next time they'll invite their little ones too. BTW, where has Suri has been hiding out these days? We miss that girl.

Courteney's Little Coco Is Ready For the Pages of Dirt

Courteney Cox is doing the rounds to promote the second season of Dirt (premiering this Sunday!), stopping by Letterman yesterday afternoon before getting up bright and early to hit up The Today Show this a.m. Courteney may not come off as the warmest person ever (just saying), but she was happy to tell Dave some cute stories about little Coco — who is apparently becoming quite the little performer these days. Natalie Brings Boleyn Girl and Boob Talk

Natalie Portman took the promotional reigns without Scarlett Johansson at a screening of The Other Boleyn Girl in NYC last night. She looked gorgeous, of course, but not as happy as with her on-screen sister by her side. On Sunday Natalie was profiled in The Times of London, which as usual made her seem nothing short of perfect. Though, she did reveal a bit of a sassy side talking about Isaac Mizrahi grabbing Scarlett's breast at the 2006 Golden Globes, "Seriously, I would want to grab them. She’s got beautiful ones, but, Isaac, that was not so appropriate." She also weighed in on another of her contemporaries, Miss Britney Spears. Natalie said:
“We both had the same first job. We both understudied for an off-Broadway musical called Ruthless. I never met her, but I took over from her when she left to join the Mickey Mouse Club. So we connected over that. She invited me to a few things and my guy friends at college said, ‘We have to go.’ I’m sad to see how everyone’s treating her now...Any time I see something about Britney, I close it. I can’t look at it. I’m usually interested in gossip, but this makes my stomach hurt.”
Britney and Natalie seem like night and day in the starlet set, but of course Natalie has compassion for the fallen pop star. I'm mostly surprised that she'd even admit that she's ever into gossip at all. Maybe working on the soap opera-y period piece piqued Natalie's interest in the salacious rumor mill — not that I don't relate, wink.

Justin Hits the Open Road

Justin Timberlake, the actor, was spotted on the set of his new movie The Open Road with Jeff Bridges in Louisiana yesterday. He must feel right at home being down south again because he's looking so natural at the gas pump — must be his effortless acting in front of the camera. We can't imagine Jessica Biel is too excited about those rumors about her boy secretly hanging out with Kate Hudson, but spending time in another state should keep JT out of trouble for a while.

Rihanna and Chris Brown's Poolside Lovin'

No more discrete dating rumors for Rihanna and Chris Brown. The couple was caught sharing a few romantic moments during their vacation in Jamaica together this past weekend. The 20-year-old Rihanna and her younger 18-year-old man were getting flirty at the hotel pool. Can't say we're surprised — what do you expect when the sexiest musicians of the year are spending so much time performing together? They make for a pretty adorable couple — what do you think about these two love birds?

Angelina and Brad Want to Have Jolie-Pitt No. 7 In France

Maddox is from Cambodia. Zahara is Ethiopian. Shiloh was born in Namibia. Pax is from Vietnam. And as for the Jolie-Pitt baby on the way? Rumor has it that it's a girl (not twins) and Angelina and Brad are moving the family to France for the baby's birth. It's supposedly an homage to Angelina's mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away last year. Maddox is already enrolled in the Lycee Francais system, and apparently Pax has been learning French as well. Multilingual babies. This weekend, Angelina's baby bump stole the show, and while the couple hasn't said anything yet, everyone wants more details. Right now, however, rumor has it that the family is in Texas where Brad is filming. Consider this the first of many, many stories about this upcoming addition to the family before he/she/they (?) are even born.

No Country and Affleck Boys Post Party Oscar Night Away

While some of the bigger Oscar parties were cancelled this year, Hollywood still found lots of ways to celebrate after the big show. The cast of No Country For Old Men looked like they were having a blast at the Miramax soirée, especially Josh Brolin and Diane Lane who were one of the cutest couples of the night. Elsewhere at the same party, fresh from his Kimmel appearance Ben Affleck caught up with Casey to share a laugh. Jen may not have been much for partying after her much talked about red carpet run in with Busey. Eva Longoria didn't score an invite to the awards, but she did get all gussied up in pink to go to Prince's get together. Stars Show Their Independent Spirit

Before the Oscars rushed in, Hollywood celebrated at the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday night. Angelina's baby bump was the talk of the town, but Cate Blanchett was the only mommy-to-be to take home a trophy. Ellen Page also scored one of the three awards that went to Juno, and you can check out the full list of winners here. Most of you were loving Kate Beckinsale's red carpet look, but she looked pretty stone-faced inside the show, even between manjoyable Josh and Len. Leading Men Suit Up For the Oscars

Do you like looking at handsome actors in pretty suits? Then last night's Oscars must be right up your alley! Yes, it's true, the men for the most part played it safe but there's no way to complain about seeing the likes of Clooney and Dempsey at their most dapper. Yum. Javier Bardem didn't walk with his girlfriend Penelope Cruz, but he looked confident on his way in to win his little gold man. Check out all the winners here! Johnny Depp is always a favorite so he could have shown up in jeans — no complaints. Sure, they may not be as colorful or exciting (or red!) as all the ladies red carpet looks, but with all these men there's gotta be a little manjoyment for everyone here.

The Ladies Shine in Their Dresses and Jewels at the Oscars

You all were really looking forward to the red carpet portion of the Oscars and last night so it's a good thing the rain didn't stop any of these ladies from dressing to the nines. Mommies-to-be Cate Blanchett and Jessica Alba both picked shades of purple, while Anne Hathaway and Heidi Klum were just a few of the many that sizzled in red. Ellen Page got girly with her spaghetti straps and long necklace while Nicole Kidman was one of the many sporting some serious knockout bling. Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Garner looked flawless (no surprises here) on the film noir bandwagon, while Cameron Diaz was a breath of fresh air in her pretty pink gown

The Oscars Are Back but Not With a Vengeance

Last night the winners weren't shocking but the show still had a few memorable moments. First off, let's not blame Jon Stewart for the probably least watched Oscars ever. It wasn't his fault they had no time to prepare which left us watching montage after montage. The pregnancy joke was inevitable — too bad Jolie wasn't even there to accept her pseudo-award. It also wasn't Jon's fault that it took over an hour before a big actor award was handed out. When that time came, Javier took the stage with a smile. Expected winner, Daniel Day-Lewis kissed his fellow nominee George Clooney on his way up to grab his little gold man. Of the many Enchanted performances, my favorite was the adorable Kristin Chenoweth singing, "That's How You Know." One pleasant surprise was seeing Owen Wilson presenting Best Live Action Short. We're also very happy to see Juno win something! Congrats Diablo Cody!

The Independently Spirited Gather in Pre-Oscar Excitement

While the weekend's big event is just hours away, last night's Independent Spirit Awards brought out some big names and one very talked-about baby bump. You know, ICYMI, Angelina Jolie showed off that she is indeed pregnant on the arm of Brad Pitt/Robert Redford (just saying). Sienna looked very happy to be up for best leading actress, but lost to Ellen Page whose Juno also won best feature film. Check out all the winners here. Eva Mendes is apparently out of rehab and red carpet ready while, swoon, Keri and Shane are so my new favorite celebrity couple. Javier and Ellen were unintentional red carpet twinsies — who wore it better? We'll see if tonight's a repeat performance for the two Oscar nominees. Colin's Painful Honor

Colin Farrell was feeling gray from his fedora to his vest as he landed in London yesterday. The cigarette hanging out of his mouth is not attractive, but we'll give him a bye after reading his sweet quote in a recent interview about helping to take on Heath's role in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. When asked about the part he will share with Johnny Depp and Jude Law, Colin said,
"It makes me feel uncomfortable to think about it too much and to get into it really here but it's an incredibly painful honor to have, you know, and an honor I wish wasn't bestowed but an honor nonetheless. It's about getting Heath's work out there, get his work out there, he's too good for any of his work not to be seen, you know, and I'm really keen and looking forward to doing it and just doing the best job I can do."
Even bad boy Colin can be humbled from time to time, and it sounds like he's ready to give the film all he can to do justice to Heath's memory.

Gwyneth Is Back in London, Dealing With Hep A Scare

What's that I see on Gwyneth Paltrow? A candid smile, how exciting! Gwyn was uncharacteristically cheery out on the streets of London yesterday leaving lunch at Cipriani's on Mayfair. Perhaps it's being back in the UK that accounts for her good mood, though we all know she is deep down a Manhattan baby and is maybe (jokingly?) looking for a Brooklyn baby to love. Though, after last month's NYC health scare she may already have another one on her hands. One of the bartenders at Socialista where Gwyneth helped Ashton Kutcher celebrate his 30th birthday was diagnosed with Hepatitis A. As a result, all the A-Listers in attendance (and other club-goers) were recommended to go get vaccinated just in case. After those NY health messes, no wonder she looks so happy to be back overseas.

Aaron Carter Arrested for Drug Possession

Aaron Carter was arrested in Texas yesterday for marijuana possession after police found at least 2 ounces of pot in the his car when he was pulled over for speeding. Aaron will be in court today for his arraignment, but it looks like he's pretty burnt. — TMZ

Moby revealed that the brief relationship he had with Natalie Portman made him the target of nerd hate. The musician, who admitted to being nerdy himself, said he understands why dating Luke Skywalker's mother made him an object of envy. Wait, Moby dated Natalie Portman?!

Diddy Has a Hand in Ripping the Runway

The Hip Hop and fashion worlds collided last night at BET's Rip the Runway 2008 in NYC. Nelly played host, Snoop Dogg took the stage to perform, and Diddy acted as executive producer for the event, which airs on March 4. Diddy has been really branching out from his musical career lately, and he revealed to David Letterman that he's looking to get into more movies after making A Raisin in the Sun. In an episode that will air tonight, Diddy said, "Yeah, leading man kind of stuff; you know, jumping off of buildings," also mentioning that he wants to do scenes involving "making love to beautiful women." Sounds like Diddy has high hopes for his future leading man status.

Stars Show Off Their Domino Skills For the Art of Elysium

Last night, Hollywood took its obsession with playing dominos to a new level at a benefit tournament for the Art of Elysium at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Ashton and Demi partied away (despite the hepatitis scare) with the help of Rumer, who actually looked very glamorous out on the red carpet with her mom and stepdad. Kate Hudson was glowing in gold and, despite what the media (and many of you) think, wasn't showing any signs of a baby bump. New mom Salma made another night of it away from her precious Valentina, but she did offer congratulations to her friend J Lo, saying, "I'm sure she'll be a wonderful mom." It's probably only a matter of time before J Lo's twins are challenging Salma's little girl to their own games of dominos.

Vanessa Loves Her Reeboks and Personal Cheerleader

Vanessa Minnillo joined the ladies of Gossip Girl in NYC last night to celebrate the launch of Reebok's Freestyle World Tour campaign. Leighton and Blake looked adorable in their respective strapless dress and cardigan. As usual, Vanessa came ready to gush about her man and her new movie gig. She said, "He's very supportive and very calming. He's one of my biggest cheerleaders. [But] he's not helping me [run lines]. I can't. It's too embarrassing to try it with him. It's too nerve wracking. I start to giggle with him and I can't take him seriously. It's just one big mess!"

Angelina Is So Pregnant!

No more ambiguous and flowy dresses for Angelina Jolie! She may not have sold her pregnancy announcement and given the money to charity in the end, but I'm going to go ahead and say this is a confirmation. Angelina showed off that baby bump at the Independent Spirit Awards today in Santa Monica.
