It was widely reported this past weekend that Paris Hilton took a tumble in Prague, while on tour with boyfriend Benji Madden and his band Good Charlotte.
Many reports claim that the Prague paparazzi were at fault for her fall and subsequent chin injury, but these pictures show that Paris wasn't swarmed by paparazzi at all! It seems like the heiress simply tripped on the single stair leading from the Italian restaurant she was dining at to the street.
As she tumbled to the ground Benji nearly stepped on her head but managed some fancy footwork to barely escape it. He began to help her up but exchanged a few choice words with the lone photog instead.
Paris eventually made it to her feet and, obviously embarrassed, covered her head with her hood and hid in a corner on the street with Benji comforting her.
The two soon after rushed to their awaiting car with Paris refusing to uncover her hurt chin and seeming very angry with the situation.

Reese Helps Idol Give Back

Reese Witherspoon took a break from hanging out with her own adorable kids to spend some time at a school in New Orleans as part of Idol Gives Back. She read stories, chatted, and posed for photos with the happy kids as part of the special charity episode of American Idol. The episode airs April 9 and will feature other celebs like Bono and Brad Pitt. Last year the event raked in $60 million, and we can't wait to see if Reese and everyone else can do an even better job this year.

Despite various reports and photos of the two together, Rihanna and Chris Brown are still denying that they are a pair.
This weekend, during the Kid's Choice Awards, Rihanna told MTV News that "We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister."

Rihanna continues, "We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry … I trust and hang out with all the time. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that."
At the same event, Chris said "They keep asking me, 'What's the deal?' I'm like, 'There's no deal. No deal.' We're just friends." The singer then said, "Be yourself, and see as many girls as possible!"
Yea, he's trying to play the media but it's just not working!
Come on and admit it already.

Bad Idea of the Week: Madonna Remaking Casablanca (?!)

It's only Monday morning and already we have a Bad Idea of the Week! And yes, this is entirely rumorific right now, but the mere thought of it is so appalling to me, I had to vent.
Madonna. Remaking. Casablanca.
Of course, the remake — possibly set in a modern war zone like Iraq — would be a starring vehicle for the Queen of Pop herself. Apparently, a "source" told the Daily Mail, "Madonna is talking about taking the Ingrid Bergman role for herself, even though Bergman was in her 20s when she played Ilsa and Madonna is nearly 50." Um. Yeah. To see what else there is to say about this, read more.
Age is the least of the issues I'd have with Madonna taking the role of Ilsa in a remake of Casablanca. First and foremost I have a problem with the words "a remake of Casablanca." And in general, Madonna is simply all wrong for the part. Ilsa (Bergman) had that sweet, vulnerable face, and a gentleness to her which I don't quite see Madonna achieving.
Again, this is totally just a rumor right now. But if it is true, it annoys me to think that just because Madonna wishes to reclaim some credibility in the movie world, she has to go after one of the most — if not the most — well-loved classic films of all time.
If this is true, I. . . I don't even have the words. I really don't. But maybe you do? What do you think about this idea?

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony made their first red carpet appearance since the birth of the twins at last night's NYC premiere of Shine A Light. The Martin Scorsese directed documentary about two Rolling Stones concerts in 2006, mixed in with archive footage of the rockers. Of course, the band was out to celebrate the movie as well. J Lo and Marc aren't quite known for the same genre of music, but when there are two little newborns to be cared for back at home they're certainly rock stars in their own right for looking so fresh, fabulous

It Was Another Slimy Kids' Choice Awards

After showing off their looks on the orange carpet, the stars got down to the real fun at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night. Miley Cyrus was the night's biggest winner taking home the awards for Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer, but she managed to avoid being slimed. Orlando Bloom was not as lucky as he got the night's biggest sliming honor. Rihanna kept herself dry with her umbrella-ella-ella while her co-presenter Brendan Fraser got some of the sticky green stuff all over himself. Love seeing Shia and Harrison together on stage, but really, Mr. LaBeouf needs to figure out the hair — not good. Ashlee and Pete made fun of their mutual love of eyeliner while Cameron Diaz graduated from winning the burp contest to taking home the Wannabe award. Fun fun all around.

Casual Rules on the Kids' Choice Awards Orange Carpet

Nickelodeon hosted the 2008 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night, and similar to last year, the big stars — like Will Smith — brought their families for a stroll down the orange carpet. Wannabe Award winner Cameron Diaz, America Ferrera and Ashlee Simpson were just a few of the ladies who got girlie in dresses, while Rihanna and Abigail Breslin went more casual in jeans. Check out Fab's coverage of the ladies' looks, as well as their Love it or Hate it polls. Even Project Runway's Christian Siriano was on hand to watch the fashion parade. Not quite the Oscars red carpet, but it looked like everyone dressed for a fun — or slimy — time.

Madonna did her usual post-workout walk all the way home (more like down the street) to her home in London. The singer is starting her Hard Candy promo tour and it included a radio interview the other day where she dishes on the title of her album, the infamous B12 shot with JT, and what kind of music her kids listen to. Madonna said Lourdes loves Britney and then they spoke about how the paparazzi is making life difficult for Brit. Madonna even declared to the host, "Let's go save her." You got to love that she clearly still cares about the younger pop star. Although Jennifer is proud of her Greek heritage, she's never truly mastered the language. But she's hoping to change that before she turns 40 next February. According to an insider, Jen made a list of things she intends to do before hitting the big 4-0, and one of them is learning how to speak Greek fluently. She even sent an assistant to the Westfield mall in Century City, Calif., on Feb. 23 to purchase a DVD kit on how to master her alphas and betas in 30 days!
"Jen is serious about polishing up her Greek," her pal explains to Star. "She's planning to go there this summer, and she wants to be able to speak the language."

Fergie was nice enough to share her 33rd birthday with Quentin Tarantino, but there was plenty of spotlight for both stars in Vegas last night. After a fun day hanging out poolside, Cirque du Soleil, and cupcakes, Fergie and Quentin headed to Jet Nightclub to party the night away with their friends. Adorable Josh was there of course, and Kid Rock showed off his DJ skills for the birthday girl and boy. The night ended when Fergie and Quentin started a food fight with the big fancy cake that rolled out around 2:30 a.m. Fergie said, “we wanted to do something that was crazy and a lot of fun", and it looks like they both got their birthday wishes this year.

George Clooney and Renée Zellweger made their third and final stop on their "Whistle Stop Express" tour of small towns for Leatherheads, this time in Greenville, South Carolina. Once again they received a very warm welcome in addition to keys to the city. Maybe they're getting a little tired since they decided to skip the old timey costumes for this trip, but Clooney didn't lose one ounce of his usual charm. When asked about his fans he said, "I think I drank with most of them while I was here." Somehow we feel like fun-loving George might be telling the truth this time.

Happy Birthday, (Not Pregnant) Fergie!

Fergie and Josh went out for a little pre-birthday dinner at Katsuya in Hollywood last night, and I gotta say Miss Fergie looked a little bleary eyed getting ready to ring in 33. Happy birthday, Fergie! I'm sure she loves that she has to spend her b-day week dispelling those pregnancy rumors — but she's doing it with a smile on her face. Sorry, Fergs. She told The Insider,
"I want to say this because I don't want people to think I keep getting pregnant and getting rid of these babies. No, I've never been pregnant! I'm 5 foot, 4, and I gain weight, basically, from the thighs up, so a couple pounds or a big meal and a bad picture at a bad angle and all of a sudden it's all over the place! ... I'm still getting used to saying the word fiancé! It's just a nice time. We're both working and living our lives together. It's a wonderful time. It's a happy time. We have to meet with the wedding planner and see!"
Well, I certainly love seeing these two together so I'll just sit tight and wait to see her in a wedding dress before holding my breath to see a baby bump.

Rihanna Chooses Children and Charity

Rihanna may be a self-proclaimed bad girl, but she was doing plenty of good in Chicago last night. The starlet gave a benefit concert for The Believe Foundation, which helps children and their families who can't afford the medical attention they need. Rihanna has a soft spot for both the charity and children in general, saying,
"When I was young and I would watch television and I would see all the children suffering, I always said when I grow up I want to help. Not long after I was in the position where I could help. I started to visit all these children's hospitals and I have a soft spot for kids. I just want to help and make sure they are happy. They can come to a Rihanna concert or have toys or gifts at Christmas."
After the show, Rih took her green nails backstage to pose for pictures and sign autographs for her young fans. Sounds like these kids have found a great role model to look up to!

Is $10 Million for Jolie-Pitt Baby Photos Too Over the Top?

The celebrity baby photo market just keeps getting crazier, and the newest estimate is that the Jolie-Pitts could fetch up to $10 million for the first photos of their new twins. (Also, twins? I'm still not sure I believe that.) People supposedly paid J. Lo and Marc $6 million for photos of their babies, while Christina reportedly got $1.5 million. The whole thing seems pretty ridiculous, but we do love seeing the final product. What do you think — are celebrity baby photo prices too outrageous these days?

Whew, big time. Considering Courteney and David's recent Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation charity challenge, I gotta believe that has something to do with this star studded guest list. It looks like at least one famous blond guest knows how to exit a car and avoid any unwanted photos. Ha. Amy Winehouse's Skin and Rehab Riddle

Concerns are resurfacing about Amy Winehouse's health and possible drug abuse, with her skin being scrutinised by various experts. The Sun's doctor Carol Cooper has said Amy's skin damage is "not unusual with crack cocaine abuse". Rumours are also circulating about an imminent trip to rehab, with reports that the troubled singer has herself admitted that she needs to return to rehab. Speaking to Heatworld today, Amy's spokesperson cleared up both rumours by saying:
"Amy’s doing well ... She is not going back to rehab at this time. Generally, she's having time off, recording a bit at her home studios, about to go back in the studio proper and working towards her husband's freedom. The problem is that her face looks bad because of impetigo – it's not a nice thing, but it's not related to drugs, it's a bacterial infection".
Amy seemed to be doing much better when she first left rehab and performed at the Grammys, so let's hope her spokesperson is giving us the real version of events

Clooney's Big, Small Town Leatherheads Premiere

George Clooney headed home to Maysville, Kentucky for a unique premiere of Leatherheads. The actor's father and aunt were born there and in fact, Aunt Rosemary Clooney also premiered her film The Stars Are Singing in 1953 in the small town. George brought his old Hollywood style and co-star Renée Zellweger along with him. He wanted a small town premiere to also go along with the theme of the film since apparently George said, "the NFL got its start in small towns." It's a nice change from the big LA lights, camera and action that a normal red carpet premiere entails, but hopefully this isn't the last we'll see of the big stars promoting their work.

Halle Berry gives birth to a baby girl!

Halle Berry, 41, and her boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry, 32, welcomed a baby girl Sunday. Her rep said, “Everyone is doing great!”

Halle Berry had a 7lb 4 oz girl at 10:17am Sunday morning, March 16, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because the felt like she was going into labor. It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She’s a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle’s blood pressure came down. She wasn’t dilating anymore so at around 2:45pm they let her go home. Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00pm Saturday night. Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn’t even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene.”
